7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join the Meadows Museum of Art on a day trip to the Dallas Arboretum for a combined exhibit of the Great Pumpkin Festival, boasting more than 50,000 pumpkins and over 150,000 colorful plants and flowers, in conjunction with a special exhibition of glassworks by contemporary art superstar, Dale Chihuly.  His transformative contemporary glass sculptures, some of which exceed 30 feet in height and include more than 1,000 pieces of hand-blown glass, appeal to people of all ages and have been seen in over 200 museums! Chihuly’s fascination with glass houses has grown into a series of exhibitions in botanical settings beginning in 1991 in Chicago, then London, New York, and, now, Dallas. Lunch will be served in the restaurant in the DeGolyer Mansion following a guided tour of the exhibit.  A short stop will be made at NorthPark Mall before traveling home. The bus will arrive in Shreveport between 7:00 and 8:00pm.

This tour is based on a minimum of 30 paying passengers and includes the following:
